Five Ways To Elevate The Guest Experience At Your Wedding

One important thing to keep in mind throughout your wedding planning is the total experience.. You want to create a good experience for everyone who has put in that effort to be there for your big day. There are many ways to elevate the guest experience, but we have a few favorites to share! You can also use these opportunities to bring a little bit of you and your fiancé’s favorite things to life!

Photo booths

We love photo booths, especially because they are set up for a Pinterest-worthy photo even outside of the ‘booth’ itself. You can set them up indoors or outside, making them great for outdoor weddings too.

They can even double as a guestbook. We suggest getting a scrapbook or seeing if the photo booth company provides one. Then, you can just have some glue sticks and sharpies at the booth where people can put their photos in the book and leave a note.

Most companies will give you a USB that evening with all of the photos or send a link within 24 hours that you can access, which is a great way to re-live the evening immediately!

You can even have the images displayed throughout the evening by streaming them to screens, typically screens provided by your DJ.

Mobile bar

We love mobile bars! They’re aesthetically pleasing and can help create those Pinterest-worthy photos. You can get specialty drinks during cocktail hour or pre-ceremony. These are particularly great for events for which you’re providing your own alcohol.

Live painter

This is a great touch because it’s also something that you get to keep after the wedding day. The painter will create an image from your wedding day. The painting can begin during the ceremony and carry through the reception as the artist ‘finishes’ the painting. Often, the painter can double as entertainment for guests who’ll get a kick out of watching them paint.

It’s worth noting that many times you’ll receive the painting post-event so the artist can do final touches and detail in their studio. You’ll also want to spend some time finding and picking an artist whose style you absolutely love.

Cigar roller

We love this idea because it’s something that can double as a favor for guests. Plus, it’s interactive. Guests can see them being rolled right in front of them and learn all about cigar rolling. It’s such a unique way to elevate the guest experience because whether or not they smoke, it can be fun to watch.

Same day edit video

This is a short recap of the day professionally edited by your videographer. They’ll edit as the day goes on and create a vision of the day. You can display it towards the end of the evening (typically before dessert). It’s nice to see moments of the day when you were each alone before the ceremony, as well as for guests to see moments leading up to the ceremony/reception.

If you’re looking to elevate the guest experience, you’ll want to book things that can entertain them or give them a great memory. It’s so much fun to provide the people we love most with an amazing experience, and it can help make your wedding even better!
