The Best Bachelorette Party Destinations & Activities

In recent years, bachelorette party destinations have risen in popularity. It isn’t hard to see why—what could be more fun than getting away with all of your best friends? But, depending on your personality and preferences, you may or may not love the idea of a wild weekend in Vegas. Thankfully there’s something for everyone! Whether you love sunshine, snow, or just kicking back with a glass of good wine, we’ve got you covered when it comes to the best bachelorette party destinations around.

Into day drinking?

Gather all your girls and head to a winery for a day of tastings and bonding time. If you want to go big and sample some of the best wines that the country has to offer, there’s nowhere like Napa. Or, for a “home away from home” feel, head to the Hamptons! Just be sure to remember a cute outfit and a camera for photo ops.

Not into the party scene or staying up late?

We see you, girl. How about a spa day full of beauty treatments, steamy saunas, and dips in the pool? Here in NJ, we recommend Sojo Spa Club in Edgewater. Bonus: Brownstone Pancake Factory is nearby and has some of the BEST breakfast around for a pre-spa brunch with all of your besties.

Wanna soak up some sun with a large group?

Our favorite destinations for this are Scottsdale, San Diego, Palm Springs, and Nashville. Once you’ve decided on your destination, book an Airbnb! They’re great for hosting larger parties and often have great aesthetics for your photos. Bonus points if there’s a pool and cute floaties!

Disney adult?

Our owner Kristi is a totally obsessed Disney adult, so Disney World was always going on this list! There’s nothing like the most magical place on earth for a truly spectacular bachelorette. For a small-to-medium-sized group, we recommend lodging at the Pop Century Resort, the Caribbean Beach Resort, or the Art of Animation Resort. All offer transportation to the parks on-site (hello, convenience) and are wallet-friendly. Got a large group? Again, we recommend booking an Airbnb—especially one with a pool! For transportation, rent an SUV to save money instead of using Uber.

Foodie?

Get everyone together for a cooking class offered by a professional! Alternatively, book an Airbnb and hire a private chef to provide restaurant-quality meals for a weekend your palette will never forget.

Artsy?

Paint & Sips are always a great option. To make the experience even more special, see if you can reserve a private class and choose what you’re going to paint! Or, if you’re an animal lover as well, consider a “paint your pet” night!

Ready to make some bad decisions?

It almost goes without saying, but…Vegas, baby! Or, head south to Miami or New Orleans where the party never stops. Just be prepared to stay up late—or pull a few all-nighters.

Love the lake life?

Rent a pontoon boat and head to the lake of your choice with all your besties in tow. Then, enjoy a relaxed day on the water and a picnic lunch or cookout dinner. Don’t forget your flip-flops!

Snow bunny?

For you, Vermont is where it’s at! Or, for something a bit more local to NJ, head to the Poconos in PA. Airbnbs in these locations are SO well-equipped for bachelorette parties. Many will even help you plan your weekend by giving you suggestions for nearby activities!
